On December 15, 2011 FOX news reported on the Machinist Shortage experienced here in the Bay Area.  Those interviewed include Louis Quindlin of Laney College, an NTMA Educational Partner and Don Castillo of FM Industries, our current SFBA NTMA Educational Chair.  The article highlights the growing need for skilled machinist, and the effort being made by schools like Laney College to train these workers.
