National Tooling and Machining Association Launches Campaign in Support of Wounded Warriors Project

Cleveland, OH – The National Tooling and Machining Association (NTMA) today announced the launch of a campaign that aims to raise $100,000 for the Wounded Warriors Project, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to honor and empower America’s wounded warriors.

To kick-off the campaign, NTMA member Mike Mittler, President of Mittler Brothers Machine & Tool in Foristell, MO, will donate two large company size, custom-built BBQ grills for auction at the 2012 Annual MFG Conference held in Orlando, FL on March 7-11, 2012.  In addition, those attending the MFG Conference can donate $50 to the Wounded Warriors Project and receive a chance to win $25,000 and/or a Harley-Davidson Motorcycle.  NTMA members can also donate online throughout the campaign at https://support.woundedwarriorproject.org/group-fundraising/ntma.

“The Wounded Warrior Project helps our country’s loyal soldiers who are injured while serving our country,” said NTMA President Dave Tilstone. “Thousands of wounded warriors and caregivers receive support each year from this worthy organization’s programs and services.  It is an honor for NTMA to launch a campaign to support this important organization.”

“The core values of the Wounded Warrior Project – Fun, Integrity, Loyalty, Innovation and Service – align well with NTMA members’ values and with the mission of our association,” said NTMA member Ron Overton of Overton Industries in Mooresville, IN.  “We look forward to contributing to the Wounded Warriors Project in a way that reflects our members’ appreciation of our troops for all they’ve done on behalf of this country.”

The Wounded Warriors Project’s vision is to foster the most successful, well-adjusted generation of wounded service members in our nation's history by working to raise awareness and public aid for the needs of injured service members; helping injured service members to assist one another; and providing unique, direct programs to meet the needs of service members.  For more information, visit http://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/.
